September was the month for design. London design week is a great chance to discover exciting new products for upcoming projects. All the shows are so inspiring, even if it is exhausting trying to fit them all in.
It was great getting started shooting for Spring/Summer 2014. All the bright colours made a refreshing change to all the christmas stories I have been working on all Summer.
I finally managed to squeeze in a week off in between shoots and headed down to the West country, with a stop at one my favourite shops, Baileys Home Store (of which i never tire.)
July is all about Christmas and festive cheer, it is always strange setting up Christmas in the sunshine. The snowmen were melting, literally!
After some more buying trips, I've collected another selection of products for my online shop. We have shot everything and it is all now online, have a look.
After finishing the house, my attention turned to the garden (this was new to me as it had been a while since I've had any outside space) but with a lot of digging and some helpful friends we managed to create our own little sanctuary within the urban sprawl.
After a year of stripping, sanding, painting and much, much more. My flat was ready for its photo shoot, it helped me with having a deadline to complete all the finishing touches and I’m looking forward to see the pictures in print.
Receiving an email titled, 'Diet Coke Briefing' was like a dream come true! Even better that the project was to help launch the new Diet Coke bottles designed by Marc Jacobs, (two of my favourite things).
Finally… here it is, the beginnings of my online shop. I have decided (after many years of being told I should), to gather good things to sell. Sign up to my newsletter and I can keep you posted with all the lovely new products I am sourcing.
January is here, which means a lot of organising and sorting, ready for the year ahead. Attending tradeshows and a lot of propping and shopping for up and coming projects has also kept me busy. I also made the trip to Paris, (through the snow) for Maison Objet and the Merci Merci party. It was a great trip and very inspring, we just made it home.
